The Pettengill House, Inc. is a non profit community social service agency established in 1994 to support, empower, and coordinate community and state services, provide basic needs, emergency assistance, prevention education, case management, and support of those in need. It receives its funding through grants and private donations.
Programs include direct services or coordination with other agencies to provide:
Food Pantry: Tuesdays 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Emergency hours as needed.
Saturday Night Meals: provides hot meals to those in need
Holiday Meals Program: Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter holiday meals
Supplemental Christmas Gift Program
Winter Coat Drive
Birthday Party Bags
Mass Health: on-site applications and support in accessing Mass Health, primary care physicians, and mental health care.
Community Partnership and Referrals
Environmental Counseling and Advocacy
Clinical and Home Assessments
Emergency Assistance: shelter, utilities, transportation, rental assistance, basic needs, clothing, after school programs, and more
Coordination with local agencies dealing with Homelessness
